Record the real deadline
Save the official closing date, time zone and source link as soon as you find an opportunity. Then create a personal deadline at least several days earlier. This protects you from network problems, unavailable referees and last-minute document corrections.
Track eligibility before documents
Check nationality, programme, level, age, language and academic requirements before investing time in an application. Mark each condition as confirmed, unclear or not eligible, and ask the funder when an official rule is ambiguous.
Prepare reusable evidence
Keep verified scans, transcripts, a master CV and referee details in one secure folder, but tailor motivation statements for every opportunity. Use reminders for referee requests, document review and final submission—not only for the closing date.
